For past few months I've been extremely busy in real life and that really decreased my time working with my art. But finally I managed to clear some time for these things as well. At the beginning I thought to add space in this piece too. But after I finished the space part I realized the lackness of depth and it really looked unsuitable for the landscape. So I had to crop that part out of the picture.

I'm also planning to start doing a piece for the exotika contest as well. First I thought this would make a good participation but then I decided that I want to give it a more bizarre try. Someting I haven't done yet. We'll see how that goes. :D

Anyway, hope you guys like this one. Cheers.

You look out the planes window at beautiful beaches and thick jungles that lead into towering island mountains. It's paradise for 10,000 Days, by *Wertonen. That's the sense you feel from this top notch render of a breathtaking landscape. ( Suggested by ~Verticae and Featured by `Aeires )

Now this is what I call a terragen render. The trees are well blended and great work with the tides.

If only TG2 were available. Then you wouldn't have to postwork trees in.
I think it's excellent though. I would have done a little bit more work with the sand and atmosphere, but that's just me.

Well it's everyones personal matter do they like to postwork trees or use programs like tg2. I'm that type who get's the real sensations for postworking stuff in an image. ;)

Oh and I'd be really eager to hear more about that sand. Can't really figure out what's lacking there. :(

I can't quite put my finger on it, but it seems like it's too much of one color. Depending on the color of sand you were going for, I might add in a bit of few pink or orange color to it. I know it's quite a different scene, but here's one of mine I did a while back that I'm kind of referring to (in terms of the sand, not the rest of it ;)) [link]
